Unwillingness to be ridden in a pleasant fashion or any of the following: Performance difficulties, not being in unison when ridden, fighting going on the bit, seems just plain not as happy, pinning ears back, head yanking up, jump or aide refusals, ignoring requests, fighting in field, kicking, dull unhappy look, sad eyes. Trying to "tell you something" but you don't know what it is, running off, being difficult to groom or get in from field.

For dogs.... Dog "out of sorts" behavior. Jealousy, aggressive behavior, territorial, not listening, running away, pulling on lease, ignoring requests and commands, growling unnecessarily, not being as friendly, not eating right, not acting the same, starring at you as if to tell you something and you know that you are missing the message.

Common cat help.... Inappropriate scent marking, ignoring or "cold shouldering" human companions, sad looking eyes and face, not using the litter box, eating difficulties, scratching or acting aggressively one minute and fine the next, jealousy, waking human companions up in the middle of the night, trying to tell you something with looks and stares, excessive meowing.
